Hello,

I'm Lim Yoke Kim's daughter. I was told to inform you
on the latest goings-on by the Kirkbyites as you
collate news on them.

There was a lunch gathering last Sunday 10/6/2007 at
Cititel KL as Uncle Wong Heng returned from Australia.
Started at noon and continued amidst food and laughter
till evening. I was invited by Aunty Teresa for the
gathering and I accepted, feeling that I should go on
my dad's behalf. I had a simply wonderful time meeting
some of my dad's friends for the first time. Kind and
heartfelt words were conveyed to me, humourous tales
of my dad were exchanged and also how much they miss
my dad, all that I deeply appreciate and treasure.
When I was there, I felt that there was still part of
Dad around; something which I could still hold on to
and that means a lot.

I would like to thank Aunty Teresa again for the
invitation. I further would like to Aunty Kam Moon for
being there for me in Seremban. She shares the same
birthdate as my dad. My dad would have just turned
67...It is a huge loss; he was the anchor and backbone
in the family. Ever since Mum's condition worsened,
Dad has (still is in spirit) the focal point in our
lives. I still use Present Tense thinking of and
talking about him. We love and miss him terribly even
till now.

Regards,

Lena
