Hi Everyone,

           Just a short email to advise that Mavis and I had an enjoyable and fulfilling mini Reunion in Perth with some of our Kirkbyites there. We met up with Janet Menezes, Nellie and Joe Lau and of course  -- always at the 'makan' table. Chris would have liked to join us but he had a mini golf competition today and was only able to be with us in spirit.

           Janet & Chris Menezes, and Nellie and Joe Lau made an outright donation of A$ 50 each couple towards the 2008 Reunion in Malacca. The A$ 100 with me now will be handed over to our NSW Rep. Mimi Lee on my return to Sydney later in the week and she will do the needful of transferring the donation to our Hon. Treasurer.

           Mimi, I have also collected the donations for the four copies of the 2006 Ipoh Reunion DVDs (compiled by R. Tay) from Nellie and will pass over the A$ 60 when I meet up with you later.

          And here are some of the snaps we shot during our Mini Reunion. This location, East Perth, has been recently redeveloped and is a show piece of the City of Perth. Joe and Nellie showed us their potential waterfront property when the outcome of their visit to Burswood Casino (just across the River in one of the photos) turn out excellently in their favour !!!
