Dear Kirkbyites and Friends,

It is with much sorrow that I report the recent demise of Mohan Singh.

Mohan died on 26 May 2008. A few of us attended his brief but beautiful funeral service at his house. Mohan  became a Christian 7 years ago. He belonged to the first batch of Kirkby students(1951) and was one of the few who was already a trained -teacher before he left for Kirkby. His last posting was as Vice Principal of the Teachers, day training college in Penang. He will be dearly missed and remembered by all those in the first and second batches like  Chua Tee Tee, Chan  Beng Fai, Diana Decruz, Yeoh Jin leng ,Diana Huet, Ismail Hashim and Yahaya(Mike) and a host of other kirkbyites. He was president of our student body whilst in Kirkby. Everybody liked Mohan. May he rest in Peace.
