Dear Colleagues I
regret to inform you that Kirkbyite Robert Teo’s wife passed away yesterday at the age of 64. A wake
was held tonight (January 5) at 8.00 pm. The funeral will take place tomorrow.
The cortege will leave Robert’s residence at 10.00 in the morning.
Teresa Voon rang me this morning
to convey this sad news. Unfortunately, I was not able to circulate this
information any earlier than this.
I spoke to Robert this evening and conveyed our sympathies
to him.
We pray that God will give Robert the strength that is
necessary to bear this loss and sorrow. The loss of one’s spouse is a terrible
loss – it is as if half of yourself has been wrenched away from you. It is
indeed very difficult to come to terms with this loss.
We pray that Robert’s wife’s soul will rest in eternal
peace.
