 144 have registered! We thank you all for this overwhelming response. A great programme is being lined up for your enjoyment. Thank you ,too, for all your generous donations in cash and kind.

A summary of the latest is listed below:

        Kirkby Reunion Melaka 2008 Update/Information

1.       The Kirkby Reunion Organising  Committee held their 3rd Meeting from 10 – 12 April '08 in Melaka. Members of the Committee presented their reports and went through the final stages of planning  and accounting.   Photo

2.        The Hotel Sub-Committee members met with Ms Jennifer Chan, Sales Manager of Hotel Equatorial. Members  went through the items in the Sales Contract  and confirmed arrangements as listed in the documents.

3.       As at 1 May 08, the number of registered participants stood at 140.

4.       On 11 July 08 a Melaka City Tour will be arranged for all participants in the morning, from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon.

5.       Cheah Phee Eng will be organizing a  post-reunion activity :A' Famosa Resort Stay, on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are interested please contact him directly by 15 June '08 at email: eng_cheah@yahoo.co.uk 

6.       Those  who wish to stay in Melaka pre and/or post-reunion and want moderately-priced accommodation, please contact Brigid Tan directly by 1 June '08  at email : brigidt@singnet.com.sg

7.       Participants who are coming in from Penang may wish to know that Cheah Phee Chye (email: cheahpc@yahoo.com) will be arranging group transport for friends from Penang.

8.       Participants who are coming in from KL/PJ would have already made arrangements with Teresa Voon(wavoon@digi.com.my) or Vimala(vimaha1@streamyx.com).

9.       If you are arriving by inter-state coaches at Melaka Sentral, a new modern transport hub, you should have no problem taking a cab to Hotel Equatorial.

10.   Registration for all participants will be at Churchill's Lounge, one floor above the Hotel Lobby, from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm on 10 July '08.

 11. Dress Code for Group Photograph at 6.00 pm at Poolside (L4) followed by Dinner at

      Phoenix Ballroom (L1) on 10 July '08 is formal/smart casual.
