Hi friends,
Just to share with you the camaraderie, warmth and hospitality of Kirkby friends in KL/PJ on Sunday 9 March '08, a day 
after Malaysian Polling Day. In spite of the heat generated by very vocal politicians, the 35 Kirkby friends, representing all 
our multi-racial groups, coolly walked into Sri Melaka and showed how our Kirkby brothers and sisters feel for one another. 
I had just wanted to hand over cheques and cash for some participants from Singapore to Chew Hing but when friends 
heard of my short visit, they organised the lunch treat for me. Ling Suan and Chegu Baharuddin briefed us on the Kirkby 
College Coffee-table Book Project and the Kirkby College Grand Reunion. Thank you all for your kindness and the delicious 
local spread at Sri Melaka Restaurant at Amcorp Mall, PJ. It was great to meet Chegu Baharuddin and our Kirkby friends,
 some of whom I have not seen for many years. Thanks also to Teresa Voon, Ling Suan and Cynthia Lim for making
